Do you ever wish that you could just drop what you are doing and walk away? I’ve been  plagued with that feeling for the last few weeks. It’s keeping me from doing anything. I think that’s why I just up and started writing again. I don’t exactly have my vent anymore. I think that’s the only reason that I write, to keep my head on my sholders when it is too heavy to hold up.

I took a test today. I hope that I did well I know that I’m going to do well this semester. Just not straight A’s. It’s funny when I see people that try to ignore me. I think that it’s really funny. I’ll still pray for them. I think they need it. I wish that I could just finish this and get it over with. That’s it. I’m going to do it. We shall see the outcome.

Alright so now I can say that I’ve been to WGI Championships. What I can’t say that I have done is been a finalist, been good enough in one category to make the cut.

My last week has been absolutely horrible, from being bitched at constantly by my teammate to having my car towed. I can’t believe the result of this weekend either. People that I thought were my friend were rude and cruel to me. I think that I have given up on the word friend. Is there such a thing as a friend? You know that I have never really had a friend that I have ever kept. It’s weird. Most people have friends that they keep for a life time. I have a boyfriend. That’s something, right?

I don’t understand how people can bitch at me for my car being towed. I just don’t understand. Have you ever had your car towed? I’ve had my car towed twice in the last year! I’ve lost about $500 that I didn’t have. I swear if I get towed again I’m going to invest in a bicycle.

Well first we had Gus. We didn’t have much damage which is good. Now there is a yet another storm that could be coming our way. This one is suppose to be much more powerful than the other. My parents say that they definitely are not going to evacuate anywhere. I’m not really sure if I will evacuate.

I really dislike my current situation between Jarid and I. I really care a lot about him, and I hate that I don’t get to see him for weeks at a time. At least the time that we spent together is memorable. His family is so sweet to me. His grandma cooked lunch for us and took care of us. She doesn’t speak much English, but I have come to find out that she is extremely kind and hardworking. As I was sitting in “Jarid’s” room doing my homework, I heard some clashing about. I look out to see that she is cleaning up some tile mess. It’s at times like this when I realize how different cultures can be.

I came down because of that dang hurricane. It did not do much damage to my home town, but I did hear that it did something terrible to other towns and cities. I’m glad that mine was spared. My family is doing fine which is a major relief. I’m going home tonight which means that tonight will be my last night with Jarid and his family. I really do love to come down. Everyone is just so nice. I know where Jarid gets it from.

Yesterday was SO much fun! South Padre is a ton of fun. We shopped around a bit. I got the family some stuff. We ate at this nice little restaurant. We went to watch one of the drum instructors play with his band at this hotel gig. Then we check out the beach. It was a little rainy today, but it was still a beautiful beach. There was even some sand castles. The fireworks were awesome too! We parked in the bay landing so we got to watch from a distance, and we even had some people that were popping fireworks on the landing! All in all it was a good day.

We did a lot. I was pretty much ready to pass-out the second that we were back at Jarid’s house.

Today we are going to Mexico!

So my first whole day here. I’m not really sure what to expect. I’m super excited though! Today we are supposed to go to the island, but I’m not really sure how long we are going to stay. It’s supposed to rain today. We’ll see what we end up doing. ^_^

Yesterday was an extremely long trip that somehow felt like it only lasted a few minutes as soon as we entered the town. The town has two high schools, five middle schools, and seven elementary schools! There was even a 24-hour Mexican food restaurant which by the way has some delicious rice and beans. The tortillas were awesome too. I think that was my favorite part. For my first experience, I must say that the food has been quite good. I must say that not being able to find something I could eat or just being a bother to what I could eat was one of my major concerns.

I’m ready to start the day. I’m sure it will be fun. =D

I only wish that it was that simple. If we could just take a plane… with fuel so high no one would bother. I’m really excited to go. I’m kinda worried tho. I have no clue what to expect. Jarid tells me a little, but it’s mainly small things.

Jarid and I cleared everything up right after that last blog I wrote. It’s kinda funny how it happened. I wrote it while he was taking his nap. After he woke up, we talked it out. He’s so sweet that I can’t see how anyone would ever let him go.

Last night we had a bit of a fight. I think that I’m still pretty upset about it too. I just don’t feel happy right now. I’m still thinking about what he told me… he compared me to his ex-girl friend… and that’s what broke me. I don’t want to bring it up. We kinda pass-out after a while. I didn’t sleep well and neither did he. I hate to fight with him, but it just really hurt my feelings to be compared to someone that he doesn’t want to be with. That what I was doing was one of the things that he’s ex-girlfriend did, and that was one of the reasons they broke-up. I don’t even know what to say to something like that. What would I say? ‘Oh thanks.’ I don’t know. I really unsure of myself right now. Seeing how he relates to people so easily just makes me feel like another number in the book. I don’t know what to do…

I have a paper due on Thursday and a test tomorrow… YIKES!

I think I’ve been going thorugh a mean streak. I think it is just becuase I’m completely stressed at having all of this school work to complete. I never knew that this would be this difficult. I feel kinda stupid when I say that… oh well. Next week I’ll be in Marington enjoying the company of my friends. I’m actually realy excited to go. I don’t think that I’ve been showing that however.

I’ll be good as soon as this school work is completed.

I never knew that summer school was so difficult. I’m taking two classes: Introduction to GEO 111 and ENGL 102. I’ve already taken one test in GEO 111. I hope that I did well. We have yet to get our test results back. In ENGL 102, I’m currently writing a research paper which would explain my monotone writing. I’ve never seen some many complete, dull sentences on my pages. How many times am I going to use the work ‘I’? Watev.

I’m going to be writing a paper a week. Frankly, I’m scared to death! My teacher told us that last semester she passed 16 people and that she has only given one A. That is the part that is scaring me. I told one of my co-workers yesterday, and he straight-up told me that I was going to fail. Do you see how I could be worried? At least Jarid has given me some support.

Jarid is currently back home with his parents. He’s already been home once this summer. This would be his second time. I miss him, but I’m doing alright. I like to talk to him on the phone. Hearing his voice is satisfactory enough for now. It’s funny how I talk to him about three times a day. I’ve never had a long-distance relationship. I’m not exactly sure if that’s normal. My only worry is that he will get annoyed at the fact that we are talking. I don’t want him to feel like he needs to check in with me every time he does something or is going to do something. Don’t get me wrong. I like to know what he’s doing, how his day is going. I just don’t want to be a pest. I know that he always tells me that I’m never a bother every time that I feel like I call him too much, but I just want to make sure that he’s happy. I like to see him smile even if that smile is miles away and the only way I see it is through a text message…

We’ll see how this works out. So far, I’m optimistic.
